It's been over a month...

It's been well over a month since I last posted something.  A lot has happened...

1. Mike left for Japan
2. Mike came home from Japan
3. I got fed up with dealing with the house that kept falling apart
4. I told Mike to expect a new lease before he came home
5. He got it.
6. We packed and are now moved into a new, nicer home.

The house is great.  It's a townhouse that is bigger than our old place by about 350 square feet.  We lost a family room but we gained an enormous master suite that has a huge garden tub, double sinks, and an enormous walk in closet that could literaly be a fourth bedroom.  We also gained extra space in both offices so now I have room for a second desk for my school work instead of trying to work off of the dining room table and listening to Mike rock his games and music.  :-)  When children come along, the office is big enough for Mike to move his stuff in and still have plenty of room left over for baby in the next room.

We want to get a dog because we can now.  We have been doing our research and really reading up on different dogs and which ones make good family pets and which ones to avoid because we don't have much of a yard.  I think we have settled on a golden retriever.  Now we just have to decide puppy or adult and if an adult, how old?  A lot of decisions, and you know me...  I'm a planner so I have to have everything planned and calculated for.

Mike is going to possibly earn his CFI this summer.  That would be awesome.  We really need to get him into a flying job.  I also am going to finish my Master's degree December 6 or thereabouts so I've been putting my feelers out to apply for different adult education jobs.  I am very excited but oh so nervous too.  I will stay with Fidelity for a little while longer but the climate is really stressful and I really have no idea what is expected of me anymore.  It's a little scary.  But I will survive!

More school work to do and then some more unpacking MUST be done!  I can't keep living in chaos like this!  :-)  I will bid you all adieu for now but I promise not to be gone for that long next time...
