So, this is my first official blog. So I will tell you a little bit about myself.
I am 28 (as of the writing of this blog) and now I can say I am officially a college graduate. I graduated January 25, 2010 with my Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from Ashford University. That was a long journey, but completely worth the end result.
I have jumped on the learning bandwagon again and start my Master of Arts in Teaching with Learning and Technology February 16, 2010. Hence the reason for this blog. I guess I have never been that interested in blogging, but now that I have to for my master's program, I don't think it will be that bad.
My husband and I will celebrate five years (!!!) of being married April 7 of this year. Neither of us can believe it's been only five years, but it's wonderful to know that you can truly enjoy being with someone and building a life.
Right now, we live in Oak Harbor, WA because my husband is stationed here with the Navy. I hope he will get stationed somewhere warm SOON, but it's all right living up here. We have family and friends so that helps.
I work as an implementation specialist with Fidelity National Financial. I have the privilege of working from home and traveling to Santa Ana occasionally for business meetings. Working from home has its advantages and disadvantages. I really miss the face to face interaction with people, so that is a struggle for me. But it allows me to have no commute so I can focus on school and spending time with my husband when he's home.
I think that's all I have for now... I have to write a blog every few days for school, so keep checking back for updates!!!
Great first blog Jennifer! Except the part about wanting to move away...we'd miss you too much and it gets warm here.....a few times a year! lol! Seriously, have fun blogging and I'll follow along. It's my first time following a blog so we can experience this together! Lori Beth
