Tulip Festival 2010
So this morning was an adventure to say the least... but I guess it's normal for the people in the Pacific Northwest... We got up early (7:30 am on a Saturday morning is EARLY) with the intention of it being sunny (like we can control the weather... hmmm) and spending the day at the tulip fields. Well, it was sprinkling when we left, but it dried out a little when we were at the tulips so we thought it would be fine. No, it started to steadily get harder and harder until it became necessary to find an umbrella or we were leaving because Mike's camera should NOT be wet... So we found an umbrella and it became bearable. I guess it's normal for Pacific Northwesterners to tip toe through the tulip fields in the rain. It was pretty and we got some beautiful photos.
